Milana

 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub is an American comedian, actor, and activist. After moving to America she was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents. Her first professional work was as an actor for children. Her appearances as Lily Adams in AT&T TV commercials between 2013 and 2016 - and then from 2020 on - made her famous. She was also a regular series regular on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction show Other Space (2015) and played a part in a recurring role in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). After being featured in the unaired TV pilot for New Warriors, Vayntrub also voices Squirrel Girl on Marvel Rising. Vayntrub, a Jewish person, was born in Tashkent (Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic), USSR. Her parents and she fled antisemitism when she was two years old. They moved to the U.S. with their children. Due to financial hardships in the family, she began acting in Mattel Barbie commercials when she was just five years old. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. She quit her sophomore year and earned the GED. After that she went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from University of California San Diego. She was introduced to improv comedy through the Upright Citizens Brigade.
