 Jimmy Donaldson, also known as MrBeast (born on May 7, 1998) is an American YouTuber and businessman. Six of his YouTube videos are renowned for the extravagant stunts he performs. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson was just 13 when began uploading his videos to YouTube under the name "MrBeast6000". His first videos included "Let's Plays" and "videos estimating wealth of other YouTubers." He went viral in 2017 following his "counting to 100,000" video received millions of views in just a few days. He has grown in popularity since then, with many of his videos earning tens of millions of views.Over time the style of his content has changed to include donation and challenge videos that award thousands of dollars, video that include arduous tasks or survival challenges as well as original videos. Donaldson brought in a few former classmates to assist him in managing the growing popularity of the brand after it was established. As of 2022, the MrBeast team was comprised of 60 people.Donaldson's main YouTube channel, which had 100 million subscribers on July 28, 2022, is referred to as "MrBeast".
