Adam DeVine
Adam Patrick
Devine was born November 7, 1983. He is an actor, comedian and a singer from
the United States. He is among the co-creators and stars of Comedy Central's
comedy television shows Workaholics. He was the Bumper in Pitch Perfect 2's
musical film Pitch Perfect 2. Also, he was known for his roles in the sitcom
Modern Family's Andy Bailey and Workaholics' Adam DeMamp. He also appeared in
The Intern, The Final Girls and Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates. He was also
in the film When We First Met. Green Devine has voiced characters in films like
Ice Age: Collision Course and The Lego Batman Movie, as well as the animated
series Uncle Grandpa, Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero, Vampirina, Green Eggs and Ham
and Bad Ideas with Adam Devine. Devine is the son and daughter of Penny and
Dennis Devine. Devine was raised in Omaha, Nebraska, and graduated from Millard
South High School in 2002. Along with his best friend and soon-to-be co-star
Blake Anderson, he attended Orange Coast College. After graduation, Devine
moved to Los Angeles where he became stand-up comic. Devine was just 11 years
old when he rode his bicycle through an Omaha street. He had waited for three
cement trucks and a fourth one came along the street. He crossed the road beneath
the 42-ton truck's initial two wheels before skidding 500 feet. He was knocked
unconscious, was struck by shock, and then fell into a state of coma. He was
immediately transported to intensive medical care which he was discharged two
weeks later. He was broken in all bones in both of his legs. He had an
elongated lung, and developed multiple infections and was uncertain the
likelihood of him walking again. He underwent 26 surgeries over the years and
was often in a wheelchair.
