Moss was born on the 13th of February, 1977. He is an American footballer. He
was a player with the Minnesota Vikings (Oak Raiders), New England Patriots
(New England Patriots), Tennessee Titans (Tennessee Titans) and the San
Francisco 49ers in the National Football League. He is widely regarded as the
best wide receiver of all-time along with Jerry Rice, he holds the NFL
single-season record for touchdown receptions (23 in 2007) and the NFL
single-season touchdown reception record for a rookie (17 in 1998) and is
ranked second in the NFL all-time regular season touchdown reception list, with
156. Moss is well-known for his ability to catch contested passes. The term
"mossed" is a term that is now a part of the football vocabulary,
became widely used due to the fact that he was a successful. Post-football, he
was working for ESPN as an analyst in its studios for the Sunday NFL Countdown
and Monday Night Countdown programs. Moss was born at Rand, West Virginia. Moss
attended DuPont High School. This was one of the two schools later amalgamated
to form Riverside High School. He was a star in basketball, football and
baseball. Randy was also a part of the school's debate group. Moss was a DuPont
Panthers' football player that led them to back-to-back state championships, in
1992 and 1993. Moss was a renowned wide receiver. He also played free safety
and punt return. He was awarded the Kennedy Award for West Virginia Football
Player's of the Year in 1994. Parade magazine named him to their annual
All-American high school football team in 1995. in 2009, he was named among the
top 50 football players in high school of all time.
